I hope you all enjoy visiting my site.  I would like to give you some background into who I am and why I chose to pursue photography.  My name is Kayla Mindock and my maiden name is Schott (pronounced like shot).  I grew up in Littleton Colorado.  For as long as I can remember I have always had a passion for photography.   As the oldest of seven children, I had a lot of models to take pictures of. I would set up little studios in the house and do photo shoots.  I continued my passion for photography during high school where I learned the process of developing my own film and pictures. As the years went by I continued taking pictures for family and friends.  I met my husband in 2010 and we were married in 2013. We welcomed our first child in 2015 and I quickly realized that I  could never have too many pictures of my daughter and our family.  Soon my house became full of photos.  I love looking back at those pictures and remembering those special moments.  After our son was born in 2018, I realized how much I loved taking photos of my family and decided that I would pursue my dream of becoming a family photographer.
